T3S camera is okay

Bought the T3S Thermal Imaging Camera. It works. Not super fast, but it gets the job done for basic checks. Shipping took about a week. The picture quality is acceptable for the price. No big issues, just nothing amazing.

NV2 works pretty good

I got the NV2 Night Vision Automotive Camera a bit ago and it's been a game changer for driving at night on country roads. Install was straightforward enough, didn't even need my husband's help, lol. Took 5 days to reach Denver, which was fine. Just plugged it in and it worked. Definitely made me feel safer. Worth it.

Good P2 Pro for home inspection

I ordered the P2 Pro Thermal Camera for Home Inspection on a Monday, and it arrived by Friday, which was fairly quick. The packaging was secure, and everything was intact. I used it to check for drafts and insulation gaps in my old house. The image quality was clear enough to identify cold spots, and the app interface (I'm on Android) was intuitive. Battery life was decent for a few hours of continuous use. Had a question about saving images to my phone, and their support responded to my email within a day. Overall, it's a solid tool and performs as expected.

Can you use more than one coupon code per order? Got a discount email but also saw a free shipping offer.

A Ashley Gonzalez 21 hours ago
Nah, usually it's one coupon per order. Most places don't let you stack 'em.

P Patricia 11 hours ago
I tried that once and it didn't work. Had to pick which discount was better. They do usually say in the terms if you can stack or not, but it's rare.

Thinking of getting the NV2, how long does shipping usually take to, say, California?

O Olivia Gomez 4 weeks ago
Mine got to Texas in about 5 days, so California shouldn't be much different. They're pretty quick with getting stuff out.

A Alex Gomez 4 weeks ago
For me, it was closer to a week in New York. Depends on the shipping option you pick at checkout though. Standard is usually 5-7 business days from what I remember.

How do these phone cameras compare to, say, a FLIR or Seek Thermal one? mostly for general house stuff and maybe some car diagnostics.

J Jacob Jones 4 days ago
For general home stuff, the Thermal Master P2 Pro is pretty comparable to the entry-level FLIR ones, but way cheaper. For really detailed professional work, FLIR might have an edge, but for typical DIY, it's more than enough.

I've used both. Thermal Master is great value. FLIR definitely has more advanced features and higher resolution on their top-tier stuff, but for most people, the Thermal Master phone cams are perfectly fine and save you a bunch of money. Seek Thermal is also good, but I preferred the Thermal Master app interface.

hey, was looking at the P2 Pro, anyone know if they ever do sales on those? like a student discount or something?

O Olivia F. 1 week ago
Yeah, I think they do educational discounts sometimes. You usually have to verify your student status. Check their site.

They also often have holiday sales, like around Black Friday. I got my T3S during a Cyber Monday deal and saved a pretty penny.

do thermal master cameras require a battery or are they powered by the phone?

O Olivia Lopez 4 weeks ago
The phone ones I know of are usually powered right off your phone's USB port, no separate battery needed. Pretty convenient.

J James Thompson 3 weeks ago
Yeah, my P2 Thermal Camera just plugs into my Android and uses its power. No extra charging needed for the camera itself.

are the phone thermal cameras compatible with usb-c? I have a newer android phone.

S Sam Martinez 1 month ago
Yup, most of their newer phone cams come with USB-C connectors or adapters. Just double-check the product page to be sure for the specific model you're looking at.

Mine is USB-C, works fine with my Pixel. They usually specify on the product page which connection type it has.

I think they had a pop-up on their site once for new subscribers. Keep an eye out when you first visit the site.

Is thermal master legit? heard some mixed things online but the prices seem good.

J Josh 1 month ago
Totally legit. I've bought two cameras from them, no issues at all. The quality is solid for the price.

Yeah, they're a real company. My buddy has one of their phone cameras and it works great. There are always trolls online so take it with a grain of salt.
